This policy explains how the Shoeshoe Ea Moshoeshoe Foundation (“the Foundation”, “we”) handles personal information in connection with this website, sem.org.ls.
This website does not host a database and does not store submissions on our servers. Where you complete the newsletter, partnership enquiry or invitation forms, the details you enter are used only to compose an email message in your own email application or webmail service. That message is sent by you, from your own account, to info@sem.org.ls.
Once we receive such an email, we hold the information it contains - typically your name, organisation, email address and message - in order to respond to you and to maintain a record of the correspondence.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except where required by law or where necessary to deliver a programme you have asked to take part in.
This site sets no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. It stores a single value in your browser’s local storage to remember that you have dismissed the cookie notice. You may clear this at any time through your browser settings.
Donations made by M - Pesa, EcoCash or bank transfer are processed entirely by those providers. This website does not collect, transmit or store card or account details.
This site links to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and mobile-money applications. Those services operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
The Foundation works with learners, but this website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. Photographs of learners are published with the permission of the schools and guardians concerned; if you wish a photograph to be removed, please write to us.
You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You may unsubscribe from Foundation updates at any time. Write to info@sem.org.ls.
