Shoeshoe Ea Moshoeshoe is a youth-development foundation established under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Senate Mohato Seeiso. This statement sets out how the Foundation is governed, how decisions are made, and how funds entrusted to us are managed.
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees operating under a formal constitution. The Board holds ultimate responsibility for strategy, financial oversight, and the conduct of the Foundation’s programmes, and meets on a regular schedule to review programme delivery and financial position.
All Foundation activity is guided by:
Public and corporate donations are received into the Foundation’s designated account and applied to programme delivery in line with the approved annual plan. Donations designated to a specific pillar or campaign are applied to that purpose. The Foundation prepares annual financial statements and makes a summary available to partners on request.
Corporate and institutional partnerships are assessed against the Foundation’s objects and values before acceptance. The Foundation reserves the right to decline any partnership that would compromise its independence, its safeguarding obligations, or the dignity of the young people it serves.
Programme results, including donation-drive totals, are recorded and published through the Foundation’s channels. Partners at Pula and Khotso tiers receive scheduled impact reporting for the pillars they support.
Concerns regarding the conduct of the Foundation, its staff, volunteers or partners may be raised in confidence with the Board of Trustees at grace@sem.org.ls. Concerns are acknowledged and reviewed in line with the Foundation’s policies.
Prospective partners and institutional donors conducting due diligence may request the Foundation’s constitution, governance policies, and most recent financial summary by writing to grace@sem.org.ls.
